2011 - REUNION - 160 SQUADRON RAF

The 2011 Reunion for 160 Squadron has been booked for the weekend of 9th/10th September 2011 at The Angel Hotel Leamington Spa. This followed feedback from the veterans comparing The Angel Hotel and the Falcon in Stratford Upon Avon. Preferences were equally split and since The Falcon was significantly more expensive than The Angel it was felt that we should retain the status quo. The feedback did identify areas of dissatisfaction which we can address.

1. Ensure that all bedrooms are close to the lifts;
2. Ask that the Saturday night dinner be held in a private room rather than in the dining room;

The Angel has been made aware of these requests and is keen to help. However the access to a private room for the dinner is subject to having 40 plus sitting down. If it looks like we are going to fall short of that we would need to flag this up and revert back to the dining room.

As usual the options are: to arrive on the Friday night and stay for two nights, arrive on the Saturday and stay for one night or simply to attend the dinner if you do not require accommodation.

The charges have been held at 2009 prices and include VAT:

£110.00 for a twin or double room per night for dinner, bed & breakfast (£55.00 per person)

£65.00 for a single room per night for dinner, bed & breakfast

Examples: If a couple stay for two nights the total cost would be £220.00. If a single person stays for two nights the total cost would be £130.00.
